PICKLEBALL IS HERE! The M-PLEX is delighted to announce the launch of brand new PICKLEBALL programming at our 5 court indoor location in Mansfield, MA. Starting February 2018 and continuing through the winter and spring seasons, games will be offered on 2 indoor Pickleball courts with more courts to be added as demand requires.
Initially, games will be available on weekday mornings and afternoons with evening games to be added pending the availability of court time. We will also look to develop Leagues, Tournaments and Instructional programs as the sport grows at our location.

While walk-on players are welcome, we strongly recommend players call ahead to confirm availability and reserve a spot in a session. Open play games will be played in DOUBLES format but singles play will be permitted in sessions where fewer than 4 players are present.

WHAT IS PICKLEBALL?
Pickleball is an energetic and fun paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong all in one. The game can be played indoors or outdoors on a badminton-sized hard court with a slightly modified, portable tennis net. The game is played with a paddle and a hard plastic ball with holes. While most commonly played in “doubles” format, games can also be played as “singles”.
The rules are simple and while the game is very easy to learn for beginners it can develop into a fast-paced, competitive sport for experienced players.
